Primeval darkness heard the Almighty fiat, “light be,” and straightway light was, and the word of the Lord Jesus is equal in majesty to that ancient word of power. Happy Thanksgiving!

    By Jason Severs | November 21, 2009

We have made it back to Wytheville, and are looking forward to spending some time at the house.  We are thankful for the Lord’s protection as we travelled during the last two months.  I flew back from Alaska, officated a wedding, preached in a campmeeting, and presented the ministry in Ohio, Georgia, Northern Virginia, Maine, Boston, and North Carolina. It is exciting to know that we are simply following God, and it is exciting to see how He blesses!  Through all the travelling God has kept us healthy and safe!  Praise the Lord!

We would love for you to help us pray for a few items we will need to get together before we make our move next summer.  The first item is a larger vehicle.  While working in Glennallen, it will be a necessity to travel back to the Anchorage area for groceries on a monthly basis, and we are asking God to supply a 4×4 Suburban type truck!  Also we are looking about the moving expenses, it has been estimated that it could cost us between $6000 -$10,000 for this move.  Not bad if you say it real fast!!!   Please help us make these a real matter of prayer! If you would like to help with either of these expenses, you can send it to Points North Baptist Mission, or our sending church Fellowship Baptist Church, both of their information is on our contact page of this website.

Alaska Bound at the End of this Month!!!!!!

    By Jason Severs | September 9, 2009

Yes, Lord willing I’ll be making a trip to Alaska for a short trip, God has worked all this out within the last few days.  This trip will be an opportuntiy to do some door to door witnessing in Cordova, as well as look for some housing!  God has provided in ways that only HE could!  I have been praying and begging God for the funds for this trip, and He lays them right in our lap through a generous love offering!  He is so worthy of all our praise!

    Great day in the Lord!

    By Jason Severs | August 24, 2009

Have you ever just felt blessed to be called a servant of Christ?  We had a great day, no we didn’t pick up any new support that we know of, but just had a blessed time fellowshiping with some of God’s people.  Makes me feel so unworthy, and I realize more and more that it ain’t about me, but Him!!!

    July Update!

    By Jason Severs | August 5, 2009

We have been busy this month, but have had a great time traveling with the Lord blessing in ways only He could!  I have been limpimg around most of the month after stepping on a nail, then also on a screw.  I guess i learn to look where I’m going.  July has been birhtday month for our family, and we celebrated mine, Jonathan’s, and Nathanael’s, by going golfing.  This may not sound like fun to many of you, but the boys and myself love the game.  We trust everyone is and will have a great rest of the summer, may God bless you for your prayers.

    May - June

    By Jason Severs | June 11, 2009

We have had a great time the last couple of months! God has proven himself to us again and again. We just returned home from South Carolina, and I loaded up and went to a Missions Revival at one of our supporting churches, Currytown Baptist! It was a thrill to just relax and enjoy the preaching, singing, and fellowship with the other missionaries and the very kind folks of the church.

Please keep us in your prayers, for we know that God is hearing and answering the petitions requested on our behalf!
