Dawson Creek, BC
By Jason Severs | June 20, 2010
We made it across the border yesterday with absolutely no problems, and travelled up to Calgary. We have since moved another 550 or so miles to Dawson Creek, British Columbia, and are getting settled into the motel! God has protected us in our travels, the only difficultly we have had was repacking the wheel bearing on my trailer on Thursday.( at least I think it was Thursday, the days are definitely running together!) We greatly appreciate all your prayers, as it looks now, We have roughly another 1500 miles to Glennallen, we will try to make it there on Tuesday or Wednesday, cause the motel rates are a whole lot higher here in Canada! If I don’t respond to your emails I have had to shut my phone off because of the roaming charges but will get back to you ASAP! Thanks again for your prayers!

On the Road!
By Jason Severs | June 16, 2010
I want to let everyone know that we have began this 4500 mile trip to Alaska! Other than just a couple of early stops to make sure everything was securely strapped down we have made good time with just a couple of storms and traffic jams to deal with! We lay our heads down this evening in Lincoln Neb. and are headed to Wyoming tomorrow to pick up another snowmoble for Alaska! Many thanks to the men and ladies of Fellowship who came out and helped with the loading on Saturday and even on Monday morning. Without ya’lls help we probably would still be sitting in Wytheville!
It is hard for us to believe that God has brought us this far, but we understand that He hasn’t brought this far to leave high and dry, so we continue to plug along and trust that He will continue to provide and protect. Thank all of you for your prayers, we love each of you and look forward to keeping this site updated a whole lot better than we have the last few months! God Bless!

80%
By Jason Severs | February 18, 2010
We praise the Lord that during our short time on deputation, just a little 1 1/2 years, God has given us over 80% of our support. We have been blessed, and we just continue to work toward Alaska. Our goal to depart the lower 48 is this June, and we are looking forward to that. If you would please pray for three specific requests: 1. God providing a 4×4 family vehicle. (Something along the Ford Excursion, Chevy Suburban size of truck!) God has already given us $5000.00 dollars toward this and we Praise Him! 2. Moving expense, it will cost up to $10,000.00 for our move in June, that covers the fuel, food, and lodging for 7 people, 8 days traveling! 3. Sell of our home in Virginia! If you would please make these items a matter of prayer we would greatly appreicate it! If you would like to help out with these please just let us know via email, or phone.

Please Pray
By Jason Severs | December 8, 2009
If you would keep Teresa’s family in your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks, her brother Tony, stepped out into glory this morning. He was 42 years old, and leaves behind a precious family, his wife Becky, and their four children, Ryan, Danielle, Garrett, and Lauren. We are leaning on God, and trusting Him to see us thru.

Happy Thanksgiving!
By Jason Severs | November 21, 2009
We have made it back to Wytheville, and are looking forward to spending some time at the house. We are thankful for the Lord’s protection as we travelled during the last two months. I flew back from Alaska, officated a wedding, preached in a campmeeting, and presented the ministry in Ohio, Georgia, Northern Virginia, Maine, Boston, and North Carolina. It is exciting to know that we are simply following God, and it is exciting to see how He blesses! Through all the travelling God has kept us healthy and safe! Praise the Lord!
We would love for you to help us pray for a few items we will need to get together before we make our move next summer. The first item is a larger vehicle. While working in Glennallen, it will be a necessity to travel back to the Anchorage area for groceries on a monthly basis, and we are asking God to supply a 4×4 Suburban type truck! Also we are looking about the moving expenses, it has been estimated that it could cost us between $6000 -$10,000 for this move. Not bad if you say it real fast!!! Please help us make these a real matter of prayer! If you would like to help with either of these expenses, you can send it to Points North Baptist Mission, or our sending church Fellowship Baptist Church, both of their information is on our contact page of this website.
